Comprehensive Fire Safety Solutions for 260 Gold Street
Challenge: 260 Gold Street is a 13-story, 287-unit new residential development located in the Downtown Brooklyn neighborhood. The project required a robust in-building communication system to meet NYC fire safety standards and ensure emergency responder connectivity throughout the high-rise structure.
Solution Provided: County Fire NYC engineered and installed a state-of-the-art DAS-based Auxiliary Radio Communication System (ARCS) designed for optimal signal coverage and reliability. Our team managed every stage of the process, including system design, equipment installation, frequency testing, and FDNY filing, to guarantee seamless communication between emergency personnel during critical situations.
FDNY Approval: County Fire achieved FDNY approval on the first submission, confirming full compliance with NYC fire code requirements for in-building radio communication systems.
Result: 260 Gold Street is now equipped with a reliable, FDNY-approved ARCS network that enhances first responder communication and reinforces overall building safety. County Fire’s expert execution ensured the project was completed efficiently, compliant, and ready for occupancy.
