The Dime Residences

Challenge: The Dime Residences is a 22-story, 177-unit luxury mixed-use development located in the vibrant South Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. The project required a complete fire protection system, including fire alarm installation and an Auxiliary Radio Communication System (ARCS), to ensure full compliance with NYC fire safety standards and obtain FDNY approval for occupancy. Coordinating life safety infrastructure in a high-rise, mixed-use environment presented unique design and integration challenges.

Solution Provided: County Fire NYC was contracted to design, supply, and install all fire alarm equipment throughout the property, along with a fully compliant in-building ARCS to enhance emergency responder communication. Our engineering and installation teams worked closely with the project’s management and MEP contractors to implement a seamless, code-compliant fire protection solution. All systems were thoroughly tested, documented, and prepared for FDNY inspection.

FDNY Approval: Through precise design documentation and expert coordination, County Fire achieved FDNY approval on the first submission, confirming full compliance with NYC fire codes and communication standards.
